Holy Week is upon on, the last week
of the life of Jesus. In this week, we find some of Jesus’
most influential teachings on God’s love and some of Jesus’
most important social
justice actions. There is so much for us to learn and
discern in this week. To honor this, I will be sending
daily meditations throughout
Holy Week. To be included, please send an email to stpauldenver@yahoo.com that you would like to be included.

Christian Interspiritual: "Cultivating Your Relationship with the Divine"

Speaker: Christine Tulis
What are some perspectives and
practices that support us in enjoying a vibrant spiritual
life? How can we open to an ever deeper experience of how
God's love is revealing itself to us? Sacred musician and
healing artist Christine Tulis will be offering a short
talk transitioning to live, sacred music on harp and voice
to allow us to travel into the interior world of the heart
where we can feel the Divine Presence. She will be joined
by Kem Stralka on keyboard and percussion.

Upcoming Events
Wednesday
Nights at 6:30pm: Feeding the Homeless
6:30pm: we will make sandwiches and assemble lunches
at 6:30pm. It takes about 20 minutes and the lunches
will be handed out the next day in Civic Center
Park. It is too easy of a statement to say we are feeding
the homeless. We are serving lunch to 50 people
who
are all
someone’s brother, someone’s mother, someone’s
daughter. We are showing love to someone who does not
experience
much love.
Wednesday Nights at 7:00pm: Choir practice
Choir practice. Come Sing!
STAINED GLASS RESTORATION
Please click
here to view the flyer or pick a flyer up at the church – about our beautiful stained
glass at St. Paul and our efforts to make the needed restorations. Everyone’s
support is needed for this important effort to honor the sacred spouse that houses
the spiritual services and outreach to the community at St. Paul. So please donate
to the restoration project. And don’t forget to donate to the BCIC at St. Paul.
Thanks!
Update: The Colorado State Historical Fund has approved our grant for renovation of the
stained glass windows! Donations would still help for matching
funds.
THE
SUNDAY MEAL PROGRAM
The Sunday Meal Program at St. Paul
Church is now in its 23rd year of providing a free, hot meal every Sunday morning
to the homeless and others who are hungry! In the last two years, we have seen
a steady increase of meal guests. In 2009, we served over 8,000 meals. But
financial support is decreasing even as demand is increasing. Your support
is needed to continue the program. Please contribute to the Sunday Meal Program.
You can place your donation in an offering plate or mail it to St. Paul Church,
1615 Ogden, Denver, CO 80218 (mark in the memo: SMP). We can do this together!
Thank-You!
