Buddhist Christian Interspiritual Service: "Faith: What It’s Not and What It Might Be"

Brien Field

Speaker: Rabbi Brian Field

Brian Field was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. In 2004 he moved to Denver to become the rabbi of Judaism Your Way, an 8-year-old Denver-based Jewish outreach organization. Judaism Your Way stands at Judaism’s threshold, being accessible, inclusive, and responsive. Rabbi Field reminds us how we can connect to the Divinity within.

Buddhist Christian Interspiritual Service: "40 Days of Contemplation"

Jessie Nelson

Speaker: Rev. Jessie Nelson

Lent is the Christian season that prepares us for the death and resurrection of Jesus, but the 40 days can be used for many types of spiritual growth and exploration. What commitments can we make to ourselves for these 40 days that will make Lent an interspiritual time of enlightenment?

Upcoming Events

Wednesday Nights at 6:30pm: Feeding the Homeless

6:30pm: we will make sandwiches and assemble lunches at 6:30pm. It takes about 20 minutes and the lunches will be handed out the next day in Civic Center Park. It is too easy of a statement to say we are feeding the homeless. We are serving lunch to 50 people who are all someone’s brother, someone’s mother, someone’s daughter. We are showing love to someone who does not experience much love.

Wednesday Nights at 7:00pm: Choir practice

Choir practice. Come Sing!

STAINED GLASS RESTORATION
stained glassPlease click here to view the flyer or pick a flyer up at the church – about our beautiful stained glass at St. Paul and our efforts to make the needed restorations. Everyone’s support is needed for this important effort to honor the sacred spouse that houses the spiritual services and outreach to the community at St. Paul. So please donate to the restoration project. And don’t forget to donate to the BCIC at St. Paul. Thanks!

Update: The Colorado State Historical Fund has approved our grant for renovation of the stained glass windows! Donations would still help for matching funds.

THE SUNDAY MEAL PROGRAM
The Sunday Meal Program at St. Paul Church is now in its 23rd year of providing a free, hot meal every Sunday morning to the homeless and others who are hungry! In the last two years, we have seen a steady increase of meal guests. In 2009, we served over 8,000 meals. But financial support is decreasing even as demand is increasing. Your support is needed to continue the program. Please contribute to the Sunday Meal Program. You can place your donation in an offering plate or mail it to St. Paul Church, 1615 Ogden, Denver, CO 80218 (mark in the memo: SMP). We can do this together! Thank-You!
